What's Wrong with Relationships Nowadays?

Everything is wrong with today’s relationships. Lack of patience, unrealistic expectations, social media pressure, and a loss of sincerity make modern love feel confusing and broken.

🤯 Some Harsh Realities I've Observed

  • Breakups happen over shallow connections. A 5-year bond is discarded in a month for someone new—yet loyalty is still expected.
  • We promote freedom and independence, but still want control over our partners’ choices, clothes, and company.
  • Self-respect is confused with ego—especially when apologies are withheld over minor arguments.
  • Trust issues are rampant—and often hypocritical.
  • We start “relationships” based on a vague “thing” without clarity or commitment.
  • People fall in love with “gold diggers” or toxic partners and blame love itself.
  • Double standards in behavior and language destroy respect.
  • Don’t take each other for granted after intimacy. It costs your career, family, and dignity.

💔 The Bigger Picture – Indian Society & Irony

  • Corruption and privilege distort justice—wealth can buy immunity.
  • Parents say “follow your passion” but force traditional careers: Doctor, Engineer, CA, Lawyer.
  • LGBTQ+ people still face denial and exclusion.
  • Caste system silently controls whom you can love or marry.
  • Reputation matters more than truth—status over merit.
  • Sex education is taboo, but ignorance spreads unchecked.
  • Victims are shamed; perpetrators walk freely. Justice is often one-sided.
  • Astrologers over doctors, myths over science—that’s our reality.
  • In government culture, corruption is normalized. Public decency has double standards.
  • Post-breakup hate overshadows what was once called “true love.”

If you're not loyal, don't expect loyalty. This post isn’t just about relationships—it’s a mirror to society, to behaviors that hurt more than help.

Let’s be real. Let’s be better.
